If you know me at all, you know I don't sleep much. I have this idea, this theory, that (while I'm still young and virile) I should sacrifice sleep in order to gain more hours in the day.
This wasn't really a problem for me, and often even a feat, until someone quite important to me (a mentor, if you will) expressed their concern for me; we'll call him Salvador. Salvador mentioned that, once upon a time, he too had lived his life under these same theories. Now, Salvador believes his lack of sleep may have been the cause for many of his problems in life.
No one had ever truly expressed concern like that, nor had I ever met someone that abused sleep the way that I did. I figured It was worth exploring.
